Our first concert of the season is over, and we're all tired but happy. Here's a great review you can read. We're right back into the practice studio to prepare for our next concert on January 15 at Sala Rossa.
Only one week to go until Architek Percussion presents the first show of its 2012-2013 season. We're really looking forward to this one, and it'll be full of surprises. Lots of interesting repertoire by John Cage, from some well-known works (Third Construction, Credo in Us), to some lesser-known gems (Quartet, She is Asleep). Check the events page for detailed info. Tickets available in advance and at the door.

Architek is Back. After a successful first year as a quartet, we are ready to go with some new, interesting projects for 2012/2013. The spring and summer have been busy for all members: Alessandro and Mark said farewell to McGill, where they both graduated with Master's degrees in performance. Noam finished his undergraduate degree and is headed to Paris in the fall. Ryan finished his first year of graduate studies and is back for his final year. Ben, joining the group in place of Noam, finished his first year out of school, enjoying working in the rich and varied musical life of Montreal.
While each member has had diverse and musically stimulating purusuits over the summer, the trials and triumphs of quartet life resume at the end of August. Or whenever Sandro's shoulder heals.
